Los Angeles based (but Nebraska raised!), Nate has spent two decades performing on stages across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He is a founding member of the band See Through Dresses (Tiny Engines) and has performed and recorded with Better Oblivion Community Center, Semler, and Criteria, among others. Trained as a jazz drummer, he embraces all music from alt-rock to modern pop with open arms.
As a blossoming producer, he studied for two years with Michael Mogis and Benjamin Brodin at Another Recording Company in Omaha, working with artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Bright Eyes, and Avi Kaplan. In early 2022, Nate relocated to Los Angeles, and began producing music out of Big Bad Sound, where he has worked with Willow Smith, Rise Against, and Cuco.
He has performed on, engineered, and produced recordings for labels including Universal Music Group, Interscope, Concord, Loma Vista, Count Your Lucky Stars, and Dead Oceans.
